I wish I could tell you that I found OhZone Clinics after researching the health benefits, but I was actually looking for a place to sweat after feeling bloated for several days in a row. I had heard about OhZone through friends and loved the idea of being able to detox and sweat without ruining my hair or my lashes. But after my first treatment, I realized I was starting to feel better. I have been struggling with exhaustion, bloating and headaches for quite awhile, and the sauna treatments left me feeling energized, less achy and overall happier.
When I arrived at OhZone Clinics the first time I was lucky enough to chat with the owner Jennifer Dillion. She asked me why I was there, and was full of passion and knowledge about the benefits of Ozone Saunas, and the ways they can help with so many different ailments. She made me feel excited and comfortable about being there.
Ozone is a colorless gas made up of three oxygen atoms and has been shown to aid blood flow, increase white blood cell count, and produce anti-inflammatory effects. The Ozone Saunas infuse ozone through steam and hot air into your body in order to detoxify your lymphatic system, clear your skin, relax your muscles, accelerate blood flow as well as kill bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms. Even though this experience has many medical benefits, OhZone Clinics makes it a relaxing experience. They set the sauna up for you, make sure you have a fan and water nearby (they will help you drink it since only your head is outside the sauna pod) and will turn on whatever you are currently bingeing so that you can watch your favorite show while you sweat.
While I am not a doctor or medical professional, I do feel that I can speak to the ways that OhZone Clinics has helped me. Since I have started going there (3-4 times a week in the beginning and now 1-2 times a week for maintenance) I have more energy, I feel lighter, and I haven’t gotten sick as often. I find myself with lasting energy throughout the day, and I sleep better at night. If I ever find myself feeling tired, or sick I make OhZone my first stop to help myself heal and recover. Most importantly I always enjoy being there and I always leave feeling better.
